Wyomia Tyus was the first person ever to win a gold medal in the 100-meter sprint in two consecutive Olympic games, a participant in the Olympic Project for Human Rights, a founding member of the Women’s Sports Foundation, co-author of Tigerbelle: The Wyomia Tyus story, and yet another Black woman who has never gotten her due. Come hear her tell her inspiring story of resistance and transcendence (in conversation with co-author Elizabeth Terzakis).
